Thorntons Recycling New IMS Robotic Cutting Equipment

Thorntons Recycling have just taken ownership of a brand new IMS Micro Drive 2 Robotic Cutter with tractor unit and automatic reel with counter unit.

O’C Mechanical Services supply Thornton’s Recycling with new KROLL Recycler
Thornton’s Recycling have just taken ownership of their latest edition to their ever growing fleet. A KROLL Recycler with combined high pressure cleaning and suction / pressure truck with water recycling system on Scania G450 chassis. They acquired this new vehicle through KROLL agents “O’C Mechanical Services” who have been supplying KROLL units for several years now.
The unit comes complete with a CVS Vacustar WR3100 1600rpm liquid ring vacuum pump, 94kw at 0.5bar operating overpressure.
There is also a Hammelmann HRP146 1800rpm three plunger high pressure pump, 135kw delivering 325l/min at 230bar. Mounted at the left hand side of the rear door. Slew able (180 degrees) with hydraulic transmission. Infinitely variable hydraulic drive in both directions  240 metre of DN 25  plastic high pressure hose “Parker ESH 250, operating pressure of 250 bar. With holder device for the telescopic hose boom above the hose reel, with the result that the hose boom and the large hose reel are simultaneous and independently slew able.
There is a small hose reel situated at the rear on the right-hand side, hydraulically operated, complete with  DN 13 (NW ½”) – 60 m, rubber type Canalkler operating pressure of 250 bar.
With hose guide for steady reel-in of the HP hose, automatic, with cross-threaded spindle. Supplied with a high pressure spray gun.
